Azenta is seeking an Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our growing and active Enterprise Applications IT Organization. Based in Manchester, UK, this is an exciting opportunity to join a globally successful life science company and partner with our global business leaders. This role requires onsite presence four days per week (Monday to Thursday).
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Supply Chain partners with business leaders and their teams to analyze, design, and improve work processes by leveraging information technology systems and services. The BSA will work on requirements definition, application configuration changes, and implementation for our Oracle Cloud ERP system, with a primary focus on Supply Chain Management modules (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing and Planning).
This key position will be relied upon as the principal subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Supply Chain, offering advice on process improvements and technical solutions. This person will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to define business and system processes through workflows and written requirements to support implementation and optimization of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain applications.
Perform configuration and QA testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met, and the resulting user experience is as intended. Participate in and support user acceptance testing and the deployment of solutions to production. Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary. Possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare and conduct presentations and training material as required. Offer advice on process improvements and technical solutions. Ability to synthesize high-level concepts into detailed business requirements to support implementation and ongoing process optimization efforts.
Understand integration points and analyze impacts with other systems that interface with Supply Chain applications. Provide support to end users including managing issue resolution and performing root cause analysis. Work with external consultant partners to resolve system production issues or support ongoing implementation initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Assess complex supply chain business problems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support strategic business initiatives from development through execution.
- Perform root cause analysis and design future state processes across global supply chain operations.
- Facilitate measurable outcomes and sustain change initiatives.
- Partner with SMEs across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Order Management and Quality.
- Define and maintain specifications for reports and application changes.
- Support acquisition integrations including configurations and data conversions.
- Support all aspects of the internal software development lifecycle.
Who you are
- 5+ years’ experience in supply chain or manufacturing process improvement (Life Sciences preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong functional experience with Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing and Planning).
- Experience implementing systems supporting supply chain processes.
- Ability to optimize business processes and recommend new flows.
- Experience with LEAN continuous improvement methodology (desirable).
- Experience writing SQL queries to quantify and/or troubleshoot data related issues (desirable).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable and quick learner.
