As a Systems Engineer, you will manage development lifecycle involvement to provide automated robotic sample storage systems delivering cutting‑edge scientific applications and integrated platforms for biological sample and clinical intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design, define, and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies & analyze existing systems.
- Determine system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Coordinate design of subsystems and integrate the total system.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for design, manufacture and debugging as the product moves to completion.
- Lead a technical team from concept design through to customer delivery and validation.
- Provide coordination and cohesion of engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Refrigeration).
- Integrate with Test team communications and project transition with Commissioning and Service interface, planning and procurement.
- Support sales activities to determine user requirements and develop special features.
- Act as primary customer liaison during projects, providing main technical contact.
Qualifications
- Degree level education in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience in a similar role.
- System‑level thinking and involvement in projects from design to validation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational and coordination skills.
- Project planning experience (Microsoft Project).
- Proficiency in MS Office (PPT, Visio).
- Experience with 3D CAD or AutoLab specification writing (advantageous).
