Key Responsibilities
- Work to a production schedule assembling, calibrating and testing instruments per defined work instructions.
- Prepare work by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
- Assemble components, examine connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies.
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
- Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, expediting orders and verifying receipt.
- Complete work order documentation and transactions on ERP system; raise quality issues as required per quality procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with electrical components including soldering.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, systems and following work procedures.
- Understanding and application of core principles, theories, concepts and techniques in the discipline.
- Team player with good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
