Azenta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Wotton, Surrey. This is a permanent, onsite role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and brings strong problem‑solving capabilities, including proficiency in tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage customer‑raised product quality issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead and facilitate problem‑solving sessions using tools such as 8D Methodology, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, FMEA, and SPC.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to enhance product quality and optimize processes.
- Monitor and update the Quality Dashboard, tracking KPIs including Defects Per Unit.
- Lead on quality control procurement and other pending responsibilities.
