What You'll Do
- Play a key role in the critical judgements and application of ASC 606 under US GAAP for Azenta’s key material transactions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the global SMS revenue team.
- Determine relative selling price/SSP allocations for complex multiple element arrangements.
- Review contracts and new offerings identifying multiple performance obligations.
- Generate and post revenue related journal entries.
- Understand and apply appropriate percentage of completion accounting.
- Provide guidance on revenue recognition and work closely with the accounting team to meet close deadlines by providing timely revenue accounting guidance.
- Compile and review entity level data aggregated for SEC filing and other critical reporting.
- Provide audit support for moderate to complex areas requiring estimates.
