We are seeking a Buyer to join our dynamic purchasing team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of material supply management. In this role, you will lead global supplier performance reviews, coordinate monthly and quarterly business reviews, and play a key role in aligning supplier strategies with our broader business objectives. You’ll communicate the company's vision, collaborate closely with suppliers, and drive initiatives to achieve shared goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Procurement of all products, managing all aspects of materials supply.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment of business objectives.
  • Carry out supplier quarterly business reviews, monitoring suppliers' performance and driving solutions.
  • Ensuring products are delivered to requested dates.
  • Analyze supplier spend, negotiating prices & T & C’s, with a focus on driving cost savings and improved terms.
  • Identifying and managing supply chain risks, communicating with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks.
  • Participation in Kaizen events and continuous improvements.
  • Good collaboration cross-functionally, particularly with Product Management, Planning, Purchasing, Finance, and Quality.
  • Experience in KPI management & reporting.
  • Effective communication with suppliers, internal stakeholders & management.
  • Ability to multitask & prioritize workload.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, APICS certification (CPIM) preferred.
  • Practical experience of purchasing demand/production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation & supplier management skills.
  • Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement teams and activities.
  • Expert understanding of Oracle (or similar) ERP based planning system.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities for multiple projects.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze cost effectiveness and make sound commercial/business decisions.
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc).
