Azelis is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to support our team in all aspects of warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role covering goods receiving, picking, packing, despatch, repacks, and stock management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of Health & Safety. This position is based out of Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire.
Job Purpose
To support the Warehouse Manager in all aspects of the operation of the warehouse – specifically (but not limited to) goods receiving, picking, packing, despatch, repacks and stock management.
Principal Accountabilities
- Offloading from supplier deliveries, handling delivery paperwork with regard to designated operational process and the correct location and storage of receipted goods into the Sutton Bridge warehouse.
- Picking and the palletising of goods as directed by the warehouse picking ticket process and standing instructions – ensuring that all customer, transport and Health & Safety criteria are met for each despatch.
- Ensuring that all re-packs and sample requests are produced in accordance with the operating instructions and Health & Safety information supplied.
- Upkeep of stock and storage locations as required by the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensuring that all movements of stock are transacted using the correct process and reported to the Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
- Ensuring that the warehouse facility and associated yard are kept in good working order as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader and according to any standing instructions and Health & Safety processes in place.
- Participation in stock checking operations as directed by the needs of Azelis.
- Implementation of all procedures, processes and Health & Safety regulations in place relating to the Sutton Bridge site – ensuring that all visitors or employees to the site are also aware and comply with the rulings.
- Recording and reporting problems and complaints in the approved format.

- Ability to work as part of a team and carry out the duties as outlined above.
- Flexible approach to work – able to undertake all aspects of the warehouse operation (or be prepared to be trained in those aspects).
- Positive and proactive approach to daily warehouse activities.
- Full, clean driving licence that covers all handling equipment being used as part of daily operations – willingness to be trained and continually tested as required by Sutton Bridge operating policy.
- Forklift licence or certification.
