Join AZAD as an Electrical Engineer that provides electrical engineering technician support for the Remedial Action Scheme Engineering organization. This position will provide confidential and professional services for a wide variety and large volume of project designs, drawings, communications, and associated/related documentation. Engineering technician services will be conducted following established policy, process, and practice, and will be provided to support Control Center or Substation work for Remedial Action Schemes Engineering to which this position will report.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1-2 days weekly. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $30.33 - $31.00 depending on related qualifications and experience and composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering technology, mathematics, computer science or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years of work experience is required with or without an applicable bachelor's degree.
- Experience should include related work experience in a technical/engineering environment and should demonstrate increasing knowledge and responsibility.
- Proficiency in use of CAD software.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
- First Aid/AED/CPR Certification required within 30 days of assignment start. Worker/Employer is responsible for maintaining current certification.
- Energized Facility Permit is required within one year of assignment start.
- Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.
