AZ Caring Services is looking for a Domiciliary Care Assistant to join us during an exciting period of growth for the company. You will have the chance to really be an integral part of the company. You will be based in New Romney, Kent supporting clients across New Romney and the Romney Marsh.

We believe in caring for people in the comfort of their own homes. We care deeply about what we do and care deeply about our community, staff, clients and reputation. As a Care Assistant, you will be supported, trained and encouraged from day one, surrounded by the most caring and knowledgeable people in the industry!

• Following a hospital stay, or illness, short term re-enablement support

• Personal care washing, dressing etc.

• Nutritional care

• Strong training, guidance and on-going support to every member of the team!

• Previous experience in care giving preferred but not essential

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Access to own car

Job Description - Care Assistant

• Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming

• Assist with medication

• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning

• Run errands such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions

• Provide companionship and engage in activities with the customer

• Assist with personal care

• £13.05 per hour plus uplift for Easter and Christmas.

• 28 days annual leave pro rata

• Mileage paid at £0.20 per mile
