We're looking for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our growing Procurement team at Ayvens.

This role will see you working closely with stakeholders across the business to lead sourcing activity, manage supplier relationships and support the delivery of our procurement strategy.

You'll have responsibility for a range of spend categories, helping the business secure the right suppliers, achieve value for money and manage risk effectively.

It's a varied role that combines commercial thinking, stakeholder engagement and hands-on procurement delivery.

  • Developing and delivering sourcing strategies across a range of spend categories.
  • Managing procurement pipelines, contract renewals and supplier review activity.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide procurement support and advice.
  • Leading tender exercises, supplier selection processes and contract negotiations.
  • Managing supplier relationships and supporting performance improvement initiatives where required.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve service levels and increase efficiency.
  • Supporting the development of procurement processes, policies and governance standards.
  • Working with Group Procurement colleagues to ensure alignment with wider business objectives.
  • Monitoring market activity and supplier developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
  • Using spend data and management information to support planning and decision making.
  • Ensuring procurement activity is carried out in line with internal governance and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within Procurement, Category Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • A track record of delivering sourcing projects and managing supplier relationships.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Good commercial awareness and experience negotiating with suppliers.
  • Experience managing contracts and supporting supplier performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support recommendations.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other Office applications.
  • Experience within a regulated environment would be beneficial.

Knowledge of the automotive, leasing or wider operational supply chain sector would also be an advantage, although it's not essential.
