We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Procurement Manager to join the Ayvens team on a permanent basis at our Lyde Green, Bristol (BS16 7LB) office. The role will lead the vehicle sourcing strategy and manage key manufacturer relationships across the UK business. You’ll own the end‑to‑end vehicle procurement strategy, working closely with manufacturers, dealers and brokers to secure supply, optimise commercial outcomes and manage risk. You’ll balance strategic planning with hands‑on supplier management, ensuring operational delivery and resolving issues quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vehicle procurement strategy across key categories.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with vehicle manufacturers and supply partners.
  • Secure vehicle supply and negotiate optimal commercial terms.
  • Source tactical and bulk purchasing opportunities to support business goals.
  • Deliver against volume, rebate and commercial performance targets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for manufacturer performance, issue resolution and escalation.
  • Work closely with Operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and supplier performance.
  • Maintain oversight of stock levels, campaigns and supply management controls.
  • Use data and insight to identify opportunities, trends and risks.
  • Collaborate with Asset Risk, Commercial and wider stakeholders to inform strategy.
  • Contribute to Group category activity, including supplier partnerships and rebates.
  • Support the development of supplier scorecards and performance frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the vehicle supply chain.
  • Ensure all activity aligns with risk, compliance and governance standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in procurement, category management or supplier management.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation experience.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, stakeholder‑driven environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and deliver at pace.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, delivery‑focused approach.
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience leading or contributing to change and improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in the automotive or leasing sector and an understanding of vehicle supply chains and manufacturer relationships is highly advantageous.
