Procurement is a core strategic function within the Operations & Remarketing division, playing a key role in managing external spend, strengthening supplier relationships and ensuring robust governance. We're looking for a Procurement Manager (Monitoring & Control) to lead policy, risk and supplier governance across the UK business.
You'll own the design and implementation of procurement policies, procedures and controls, ensuring the team operates efficiently and in line with Group standards. You'll lead procurement risk and compliance activity, support outsourcing oversight, and help develop strong supplier management practices across the business.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Own and embed UK procurement policies, procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with Group standards
- Lead and develop the procurement risk and compliance team, supporting capability and career development
- Design and manage risk and compliance monitoring across Procurement, including remediation activity
- Act as subject-matter expert for procurement policies, controls and assurance activity
- Lead supplier management best practice, including upskilling business owners and strengthening oversight
- Oversee Procurement's role in outsourcing, including reviews and ongoing supplier management
- Drive sustainability and ESG initiatives across the procurement and supplier base
- Provide insight through spend, compliance and performance reporting to inform decision-making
- Design and implement quality standards to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Build strong relationships with Risk and Compliance stakeholders at local and Group level
- Support innovation, change and integration activity across Procurement and Group programmes
