This is a customer-focused role, working with both internal teams and external customers to resolve queries, manage arrears and deliver excellent service. You will work directly with customers to manage overdue payments, resolve queries and provide support particularly for those experiencing financial difficulty. You will balance a strong customer focus with clear objectives around collections, risk reduction and regulatory compliance.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Proactively contact customers (by phone, email and letter) to collect overdue or missed payments.
- Support customers in financial difficulty, offering appropriate solutions and guidance.
- Identify accounts at risk and take action to minimise potential losses.
