The Remarketing team is primarily responsible for generating used car sales margin or performance margin through effective management of vehicle returns through to sale or release. The scope of the department includes compound & logistics activities both in-life and at end of contract including operational management of short-term rental products (Flexible), used vehicle sales activities and ownership of the MCAM product.

Rental Operations incorporates operational management of the Flexible short-term rental channel alongside management of third-party rental provision to Ayvens customers (predominantly Corporate non-regulated customers). Working in conjunction with the Commercial team there is also shared responsibility of proposition and influence within sales areas.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Ayvens Flex operational and administrational tasks
  • Responsible for maximizing customer experience and product performance for Ayvens Flex interactions
  • Work as a team member to cover all aspects of the Ayvens Flex team’s work as needed to promote and manage the product
  • Responsible for the response to incoming bookings and requests for Ayvens Flex vehicles working to Ayvens Flex response SLAs
  • Manage customer enquiries and queries to find solution to customer needs within Ayvens Flex product boundaries including in-life incidents
  • Responsible for managing customer credit applications, account set ups, and payment set ups as required for Ayvens Flex
  • Arrange for collection of vehicles in line with off-hire SLAs
  • Ensure correct booking details, quality standards for vehicle deliveries and customer interactions for Ayvens Flex
  • Support account managers and CS teams by acting as product subject matter expert to promote understanding and performance of product and support to ad hoc customer requests
  • All aspects of fleet administration covered to support performance of Ayvens Flex

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a rental operational environment
  • Experience in direct customer facing role
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of administration, customer service and fleet management including de-fleet assessment
  • Good commercial and financial awareness
  • Experience of analysis and reporting
  • Experience in delivering high levels of customer service & problem resolution
  • Experience of actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently
  • Fluent in business English Language – written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of core Microsoft applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
