Currently seeking an addition to our Bristol based Fleet Services Team in the form of a Maintenance / Technical Controller.
Key Purpose- Control, manage and authorise maintenance expenditure
- Provide service excellence to both internal and external customers
- Contain costs, in a way that will not have an adverse effect on customer service
- Efficiently process high volumes of on-line authorisation requests
- Daily enquiries, issuing order numbers and agreeing RMT costs within agreed guidelines with the aim being to minimise these costs in line with providing excellent customer service
- Authorise recharges / reimbursements to customers
- Ensure regular contact with customers, ensuring agreement is sought where required
- Communicate with vehicle manufacturers and liaise with their representatives on issues determined by after sales policy
- Build relationships and develop the trust of the customer and/or drivers
- Meet all agreed SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Maintain a high level of service focus, ensuring Ayvens service style is adopted and supported always
- Keep abreast of market conditions and specific industry and organisational changes
- Achieve optimum value from every negotiation while maintaining on-going and mutually beneficial relationships
- Workshop experience
- Mechanic qualification or equivalent in experience
- Apprenticeship in the motor trade, would be ideal in addition to experience of working in a customer facing role
- Proven ability to negotiate with service centres
- Ability to convey technical knowledge in a non-technical way
- Great attention to detail
