We’re looking for a Procurement Lead to join our expanding procurement team on a permanent basis at our Lyde Green, Bristol (BS16 7LB) office. In this role, you’ll support the effective running of the indirect procurement portfolio and provide a strong platform for future career development within procurement and supply chain management.

You’ll support the day‐to‐day management of procurement activity, helping the team prioritise work requests, manage contract renewals and embed consistent, well‐governed ways of working. Acting as a central point of contact, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders and suppliers while supporting reporting, supplier onboarding and continuous improvement activity.

Procurement Lead key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
  • Act as the primary first point of contact for procurement queries, providing clear advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate workflow and renewal portfolios to support prioritisation and reporting.
  • Act as the “voice of the customer”, identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and policies.
  • Manage a small portfolio of categories or contract renewals through the full sourcing lifecycle.
  • Support supplier onboarding and ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Embed and maintain robust procurement processes by developing strong subject‐matter knowledge.
  • Produce and maintain procurement reporting, using insight to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Support risk and compliance activity, including maintaining supplier records and updating Group systems.
  • Support procurement communications and engagement across the business.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Experience working in an operational, procurement or supply chain environment.
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across a business.
  • Strong IT skills and confident using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint with ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good data analysis and reporting capability, with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working at pace and meeting deadlines.
  • Exposure to regulated environments where risk and compliance are important.
  • Understanding of automotive, leasing or operational supply chains.
