Tremendous opportunity to join this developing business area as a Partnership Manager supporting HCUK. Partnership Models form a key component of the Ayvens group strategy and are pivotal to growth plans. The Partnership channel is responsible for the development of sustainable growth from OEM and Retail-branded partnerships, some of which are operating under a white labelled model. Currently LVS and our partnerships with Tesla, Polestar and HCUK (Fleet Management) are currently the focus for the channel, however there are ambitions to develop further partnerships using the Lombard and HCUK blueprints.

Primary Objective
- To manage and optimise the relationship between Ayvens and HCUK.
- Work with the Head of Partnerships and relevant Business/Process Owners to achieve annual HCUK volume, revenue and profitability targets.
- To define and lead all relevant HCUK change and continuous improvement activity to drive operational efficiencies, exceed contracted SLA expectations and to maximise the capture of volume, revenue and profitability opportunities.
- To ensure that all activities and strategies align with consumer duty regulations, promoting fairness, transparency, and the protection of consumer interests.
Areas of Responsibility
- Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and relevant Business/Process Owners to own and develop the value proposition to HCUK, Ayvens and our joint customers.
- E2E ownership of the HCUK Partnership agreement; in-life, development and renegotiation. Ensuring all parties meet their contractual obligations and deliver on commercial objectives and targets.
- Ensure ongoing review and actions are jointly implemented to deliver against the defined strategic direction, adapting as strategy/tactics evolve.
- Act as lead day-to-day point of contact for HCUK’s Partnership Manager on all commercial, operational and process/continuous improvement matters.
- Identify key HCUK decision makers and build strong relationships at senior executive level. Undertaking regular meetings with HCUK and Ayvens to agree key objectives to maximise opportunities and future partnership developments/growth opportunities.
- Working with Heads of Department and other relevant internal stakeholders, co-ordinate the collation of reporting to demonstrate HCUK’s achievement of SLAs and lead any improvement actions/initiatives to close any gaps.
- Provide day to day support to HCUK and internal managers for query resolution.
- Communicate fully specified HCUK requirements to Partnerships internal support and sales teams as required.
- Monitor and report on legislative and industry developments that affect HCUK/OEM customers.
Role Requirements
Leadership
- Develop and deliver against a clear strategic vision for HCUK, suitably developed to maximise the potential within the partnership with HCUK/OEMs.
- Be the voice for HCUK/KIA/HYUNDAI/Genesis (the ‘Partners’) within Ayvens UK and the voice of Ayvens to our Partners.
Collaborating and Influencing
- Collaborate cross functionally to deliver high quality service levels, influencing stakeholders to meet HCUK, market and customer demands, and operating in a regulatory and SG compliant manner.
- Maintain excellent relationships and co-operation with the central commerce team and specifically the OEM Partnership team.
- Maintain excellent relationship with key HCUK decision makers and stakeholders, adopting ‘senior’ relationship status in support of the Head of Partnerships and Digital Partnerships Manager.
- Ensure that all stakeholders understand and adhere to consumer duty responsibilities, operating in line with both internal and external regulatory parameters.
Leading Change
- Be courageous in the activation of change to fully optimise the HCUK partnership. Implement effective plans, including clear communication, vision and stakeholder engagement to energise the HCUK team and the wider organisation in achieving business goals.
Technical Capabilities
- Relationship management – exceptional ability to build relationships and develop trust, act as key stakeholder within partner relationships. Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills to ensure effective relationships across Ayvens UK.
- Strong financial acumen, assuming responsibility for control and achievement within set budgets and goals.
- Reporting & Systems – meet key SLA and KPI’s for both local and international reporting requirements. Develop appropriate methodologies to ensure monitoring and effective oversight of HCUK performance.
- Risk – alongside the Head of Partnerships, ensure all stakeholders understand the necessary tasks and responsibilities, operating within a compliant approach in line with both internal and external regulatory parameters. Ensure effective monitoring and control environments are implemented across key performance and product areas to ensure businesses is compliant with statutory and regulatory policies and procedures.
Desired Previous Experience
- Ideally, Senior Account Management or Partner Relationship experience within OEM/vehicle leasing sector.
- Track record of defining and leading change and continuous improvement activity to drive operational efficiencies, exceed contracted SLA expectations and to maximise the capture of volume, revenue and profitability opportunities.
- Evidence of strong financial and commercial awareness, combined with excellent relationship management and effective communication skills.
- Evidence of strategic thinking and a strong track record of account development, business development and sustainable growth.
