Primary Objective- To manage and optimise the partnership relationship between Ayvens and Tesla, driving the achievement of annual business unit and profitability targets alongside and through the Business Development Manager (Tesla) reporting into this role.
- To develop and lead Ayvens’ OEM partnership growth strategy, establishing a clear partnership value proposition and scalable framework for targeting and onboarding new OEM partnerships.
- Drive continuous improvement, strategic alignment and operational efficiency across existing and emerging partnerships, ensuring all activity adheres to consumer duty and regulatory requirements.
- Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, own and develop the value proposition for Tesla and future OEM partnerships, ensuring alignment with Ayvens’ strategic objectives and partnership blueprint.
- Define, implement and own a Sales Strategy to support the delivery of the Tesla value proposition to meet volume, revenue and profitability targets.
- E2E ownership of the Tesla Partnership agreement; in-life, development and renegotiation.
- Collaborate with the international Partnership Team to nurture new OEM partnership opportunities.
- Conduct regular operational and strategic review meetings with Tesla, ensuring performance visibility, SLA adherence and joint improvement actions.
- Identify key Tesla decision makers and build strong relationships at senior executive level. Undertaking regular meetings with decision makers and key stakeholders to agree key objectives to maximise opportunities and future partnership development/growth opportunities.
- Act as lead point of contact for Tesla’s Partnership Management team on all commercial, operational and process/continuous improvement matters.
- Direct line management of Business Development Manager (Tesla).
- Monitor market, regulatory and industry developments to identify OEM partnership opportunities and ensure OEM partner propositions remain competitive and compliant.
- As part of the Ayvens global OEM partnership management community share of best practice and pursue opportunities for alignment.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Product, Risk, Operations, Compliance and Digital teams to shape new propositions and ensure best in class delivery.
- Communicate fully specified OEM partner requirements to internal stakeholders and support teams to ensure clarity, alignment and execution quality.
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to track OEM partnership performance, risks, compliance considerations and growth metrics.
- Support the Head of Partnerships with strategic pipeline planning, executive governance papers, partner negotiations and business case development.
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.

- OEM, mobility partnership, leasing, fleet or automotive ecosystem experience.
- Significant experience in business development, account management or partnership development roles.
- Demonstrable success in shaping and growing commercial partnerships.
- Effective people management and leadership skills, setting appropriate goals, tracking, monitoring and developing people to their potential.
- Track record of defining and leading change and continuous improvement activity to drive operational efficiencies, exceed contracted SLA expectations and to maximise the capture of volume, revenue and profitability opportunities.
- Evidence of strong financial and commercial awareness, combined with excellent relationship management and effective communication skills.
- Evidence of strategic thinking and a strong track record of delivering sustainable growth.
- Solid track record of delivering success through others and managing people.
- Ability to create high-quality reporting, proposals, governance papers and performance dashboards.
- Understanding of risk management and compliance obligations in a regulated environment.
