We’re looking for a Senior Risk Operations Analyst with strong expertise to join our forward-thinking Risk and Compliance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team responsible for contributing to the sustainable development of Ayvens activities and profitability by establishing a sound compliance management and monitoring framework to oversee compliance with group requirements and with UK laws and regulation.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Analyse customer documentation, credit data and financial statements to evaluate the risks associated with credit worthiness and due diligence requirements.
  • Complete credit analysis and issue a credit opinion to LOD2 validation team if outside delegated authority.
  • Complete credit analysis and decision to credit authorisation if within individual LOD1 delegated authority.
  • Register all new customers in risk system following the customer registration completed by sales LOD1.
  • Perform customer due diligence on new-onboardings, remediation and/or periodic reviews for both personal and non-personal customers.
  • Produce a robust audit trail on all parts of application decisions ensuring outcomes are compliant with onboarding and origination approval process.
  • Coordinate with the management team and risk teams to complete tasks and escalate issues in a timely manner to achieve service level agreements.
  • Deliver operational effectiveness, achieving productivity and quality targets and objectives set by the business.
  • Continuously review operational processes to enable maximum efficiency and timely updating and governance process for standard operating procedures.
  • Involvement in projects process reviews, providing ideas to improve the end-to-end client journey.
  • Implement decision making actions for effective daily workflow management.
  • Ownership of risk operations procedures updating in line with risk, regulatory and compliance parameters.
  • Contributing to improvements to processes and policy that balance risk with customer service.
  • Managing and building internal relationships with key functions within the business.
  • Deputise for the Manager of the team.

  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skillset.
  • Is commercially astute when making decisions.
  • Confident to work autonomously whilst managing competing priorities.
  • High standard in IT literacy including office applications.
