We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Labourer / Storeman to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas to ensure safety and organisation.
- Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed, including assisting with installations or repairs.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts in completing projects on time.
- Maintain accurate records of materials received on site and organise them in site stores.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labouring role and M&E is advantageous.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with colleagues.
- A commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace is essential.
