Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Part Time

Closing date – 4th September

20 to 28 Hours a week (negotiable)

We are looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly team here at Carrick Medical Practice. The successful candidate will work between 20 to 28 hours over Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The ANP will, acting within their professional boundaries, provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the General Practice.

The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process and work collaboratively with the General Practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures. They will also deliver highly specialised clinical nursing care, effectively dealing with undifferentiated chronic illness and managing the clinical delivery of service for defined patient groups in conjunction with medical personnel.
