An excellent opportunity has arisen for a GP Maternity Cover role in a Practice that is easily accessible from Glasgow via the M77, situated only 40 minutes from the West End and 20 minutes from Newton Mearns.
The successful applicant would be joining a friendly and forward-thinking team, with a long history of undergraduate teaching. We are looking for up to six sessions per week from September 2026 – August 2027 with an opportunity for a permanent position.
We are an experienced and supportive Practice of 6 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP and 2 ANPs with a knowledgeable and committed multi-disciplinary team including District Nurses, Health Visitors, 2 CTAC staff, an Advanced Physiotherapist, a Mental Health Practitioner, a Community Connector and a pharmacotherapy team of 5.
The Practice uses EMIS PCS, Docman Management and Lexacom Dictate. The practice follows the BMA model contract and all the associated benefits including:
- 30 days holiday a year pro rata
- 10 Public Holidays pro rata
- 4 hours per week pro rata of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
