The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

Due to retirement we are seeking a friendly, organised and patient focused Medical Receptionist to join our busy GP Practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients in person and responding to telephone calls courteously and efficiently
  • Booking, amending and cancelling appointments using the clinical system
  • Managing patient queries and signposting appropriately
  • Handling correspondence, prescriptions and general administrative duties
  • Workflow optimisation via Docman system
  • Supporting clinicians and colleagues as part of a collaborative practice team
  • Adhering to confidentiality, GDPR and practice policies at all times
