At South Beach Medical Centre, the work/life balance is of the utmost importance to us. We have created an inclusive culture and collaborative environment, meeting regularly for coffee, cake or lunch to share ideas, motivate, and recognise and reward good practice. We work autonomously as an innovative team who understands the complexity of working in a challenging ever-changing environment, so we have embraced a laid-back approach with flexible working, generous annual leave, and a relaxed dress code.

We are a high-earning, award-winning training practice, working from modern purpose-built premises and caring for over 8,700 patients. We run a fair system based on a dedicated duty doctor in rotation which allows protected admin time (for the non-on-call GPs) most days between clinics. Our in-house Physiotherapist, Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioner, Community Link Worker, Occupational Therapist, and Income Advisor further improve the workload distribution, exemplifying our multi-disciplinary team approach to modern general practice.

Outside of work, we organise regular nights out (including 10 pin bowling, quiz nights, comedy clubs) or days away (to the likes of Arran). We are lucky to have Ayrshire’s stunning coast and countryside right on our doorstep, with excellent quality housing and schooling within short commutable distances, and we are easily accessible from Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

We are looking for a GP to complete our team working 4 to 6 sessions a week. We offer flexible working and a generous annual leave package. If this is what you are looking for, we would like to invite you along to meet the team, chat with us over coffee, and enjoy a tour of our lovely building.
