NHS Fife Sexual Health Service invites applications for a 1.5 session (6-hour) permanent post as a Specialist (SAS) Doctor in Vasectomy Care within the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership. We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic colleague to join our outpatient vasectomy service based in a community Sexual Health clinic in Fife.

The role involves providing comprehensive Specialist (SAS) medical leadership and oversight of vasectomy care for patients referred for outpatient local anaesthetic vasectomy. You will support high-quality, human-centred care through clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' medical experience (continuous or in aggregate) since obtaining a primary medical qualification, with at least six years in a relevant specialty as a Specialty Doctor and/or SAS grades. Equivalent experience from other medical grades, including overseas, is accepted. Completion of a recognized vasectomy training program and the ability to work independently, along with eligibility to train medical staff in vasectomy procedures, are required.
