Support Worker – 2 vacancies in Irvine, CA (27/03/2026).
Job details: 1 x 6.25 hours, 1 x 5 hours. Hours will be discussed at interview stage; flexibility required to suit needs of the employer.
Rate of Pay (ROP): £15.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assist a man with dementia and his wife to get out and about, including going out for coffee, companionship, and general assistance with everyday tasks.
- Help with mobility, including use of wheelchair, and ensure daily showering and dressing.
- Travel to local community as needed.
- Cover holidays and sickness for other staff and provide flexible hours as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting adults is beneficial but not required.
- Training on moving and assisting will be provided.
- Must provide two references (one from current or most recent employer) and undergo a New PVG Disclosure at the employer's cost.
