About the Role

  • Female applicants only (Equality Act 2010)
  • North Ayrshire
  • 16-20 hours per week
  • £13.86 per hour

I am looking for a reliable and caring female personal assistant to support a young disabled woman in North Ayrshire. The role mainly covers evenings and alternate weekends, with some flexibility. Training will be given.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Support transfers between wheelchair, toilet, and bed
  • Prepare simple meals
  • Accompany employer on dog walks and clean up after the dog
  • Light household tasks to keep the home tidy
  • Help organise and order medication
  • Assist with typing and basic admin
  • Occasionally accompany the employer and family on holidays (paid, agreed in advance)
  • Occasionally cover staff sickness/holiday
  • Support with activities such as swimming, cinema, and days out (no need to be a strong swimmer – I stay in my depth)
