Position: PT Support worker for the Stewarton Area.
Compensation: The rate of pay is £13.70 per hour for 16 hours per week. Extra shifts may be available to cover absences and sickness and may include sleepovers.
Role Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant / Support Worker to assist a 49‑year‑old gentleman with Multiple Sclerosis who lives in his own apartment. The role involves supporting him with all aspects of his daily care needs, including personal care, continence care, and social support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care and night‑time routines
- Assist with medication administration
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers (double handling)
- Encourage and support his independence where possible
- Provide catheter care (training provided)
- Assist with peg feeding (training provided)
- Perform light housework duties
- Use the client’s adapted vehicle for social activities and appointments (clean driving licence advantageous)
Shift Availability:
- 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
- 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

- Initial contract of 6 months leading to permanent after probationary period
- Flexible working hours to suit the service user’s needs
