Schedule: 5 hours per week (or 20 hours over 4 weeks) across two days per week. Employer flexible on days and will discuss at interview.
About The Role: We are looking for a reliable and friendly Personal Assistant to support a lady who is a power wheelchair user. The role involves assistance with everyday tasks to promote independence and well-being.
Main Duties:
- Light housework, including tidying and cleaning
- Changing bedding
- Assistance with shopping
- Supporting with general day-to-day tasks
- Helping care for and being comfortable around a large, old, friendly Labrador cross dog
- Driving to appointments or shops as required
Requirements:
- Must be a driver with access to a car
- Comfortable around large dogs
- Willing to undertake training in moving and handling
- Reliable, friendly, and respectful of privacy and dignity
- Able to work daytime hours (flexible schedule by agreement)

Probation and References: Position is subject to a 6-month probationary period. Either side may terminate the contract with one week notice during this time. Successful applicants will have to provide two references (one of which must be from your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New PVG Disclosure at the employer’s cost.
