Hours: 6.5 hours per week

Days/Hours: Tuesday / Thursday or weekend shifts discussed at interview

Rate: ÂŁ14.95 per hour

Duties:

  • Practical and social support for an adult with high‑functioning Asperger’s Syndrome, including grocery shopping, meal preparation and house chores.
  • Assist with computer and internet tasks; drive and accompany in walking, travelling, cinema visits and socialising.
  • Provide practical and social support as required.

Required skills and qualities:

  • Friendly, good communication with positive body language and patience.
  • Basic understanding of Asperger’s helpful.

Requirements:

  • New PVG Disclosure (cost reimbursed in first wage).
  • Provide two reference contacts prior to appointment.
  • 6‑month probationary period with one‑week notice if the post does not work out.
