PT Support Worker/Driver – Irvine

Hourly rate: £13.45.

Schedule: 13 hours per week consisting of 2 days Monday‑Friday and 1 alternate weekend day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care: washing/showering, dressing, continence care, medication administration, hygiene maintenance, meal preparation.
  • Use mobile hoist as required.
  • Accompany client to work‑related meetings, appointments, social events and support him in attending these.
  • Provide safe mobility support including driving the wheelchair‑accessible vehicle.
  • Cover additional hours for other staff holidays as needed.
  • Participate in required training and adhere to PPE and safety practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities.
  • Full clean driving licence and experience driving wheelchair‑accessible vehicles.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect at the client’s home.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including some weekend work.
  • Willingness to undergo PVG disclosure and provide up‑to‑date references.
  • Training & Safety

All necessary training courses will be paid for by the employer. Appropriate PPE will be provided and staff must adhere to safe PPE working practice.

Employment Details

6‑month probationary period. Successful applicants must undergo a new or updated PVG disclosure.
