Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and showering.
- Support physiotherapy and medical needs (training provided).
- Help with general household chores such as washing, ironing, and keeping the house tidy.
- Accompany to meet up with friends and family, and attend hospital appointments by car.
- Attend work events in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
- Assist participation in activities such as swimming and horse riding.
- Possible accompaniment on holiday with family and friends (payment to be discussed).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Clean UK driving licence for an automatic vehicle; qualified to drive the employerβs Motability car.
- Basic household skills (washing, ironing, tidying).
- Willingness to care for a young disabled person with a commitment to independent living.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week (suggested shifts provided).
Working Hours & Shifts
- Week 1 β Monday 7:30β10:30, Wednesday 7:30β10:30, Friday 9:00β16:00 & 7:30β10:30.
- Week 2 β Wednesday 7:30β10:30, Saturday 9:00β16:00 & 7:30β10:30, Sunday 9:00β16:00 & 7:30β10:30.
