Female personal assistant support worker required in Ayr. Flexible shifts up to 16 hours per week with a casual posting. The role is to support a lively, outgoing female wheelchair user who is active and sociable.
Responsibilities
- Assist with everyday tasks and activities, including domestic, personal and social duties.
- Act as an assistant, facilitator and champion for the client.
- Support creative projects such as painting, arts, crafts and other social activities.
- Help cover for other staff on annual or sick leave.
Qualifications
- No previous experience or formal qualifications required.
- Willingness to listen, learn and demonstrate a "can do" attitude.
- Highly motivated, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic personality.
Working Hours
Flexible hours that can fit around other commitments. Up to 16 hours per week available, with potential to discuss further at interview.
Pay & Benefits
Hourly rate £12.60. A six‑month probationary period applies, after which the position can be terminated by either party with one week’s notice.
Other Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a PVG disclosure scheme update and provide two up‑to‑date reference contacts.
