Location: Dundonald, South Ayrshire
Positions: 2 F/T Support Worker / Driver posts available.
Hours and Schedule: Each post will be 28hrs and 1 x 10hr Sleepover / waking night per week on a 4 weekly rota. Days will include dayshifts, backshifts, overnights and weekends on a rota system. Days and times to be discussed at interview.
Pay Rate: £15 per hr, and 10 hr overnight/ waking night will be £140 per night.
Probation: A 6 month probationary period. You will be required to work extra hours to cover for other staff A/L/ sickness. Days of work to be discussed at interview. During probation, a 1 week notice within this period if the post does not work out.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Full clean Drivers licence required.
- Experience in care sector is required.
- Having a current Moving and Handling qualification is essential as this can be a physically demanding job.
Duties and Tasks:
- Full Personal Care.
- Transfers using hoist.
- Assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
- Take part in training.
- Willing to undertake training as required for the driving of the wheelchair accessible vehicle (cost will be covered by the employer).
Additional Information: All successful applicants will have to undergo a new or update of the PVG disclosure scheme (cost will be reimbursed once you start the employment). Supply 2 up to date reference contacts.
