Salary: Pay Rate £12.60 per hour plus 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
Hours: around 10 hours per week or 40 hours per month
Confident Driver: Must be a confident driver with access to a reliable vehicle.
Details: Post subject to successful reference and PVG checks. Two up-to-date reference contacts are required, one of which must be from a present or previous employer. A new PVG enhanced disclosure will be required prior to appointment (disclosure cost to be met by the employer). Probationary period: 6 months. During this period, either party can end the employment by giving the other one weeks’ notice.

Responsibilities:
- Support a sociable lady who has Down Syndrome to access and participate in activities she enjoys (travel, office work, socialising with friends, swimming, aqua aerobics, gym activities, 10 pin bowling, eating out, listening to music, going to the cinema).
- Be with her to provide assistance as needed, including helping with getting in and out of vehicles.
- Manage your own workload with attentiveness and organisational skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months' care experience.
- Attentive, organised, and able to manage own workload.
- Full driving licence would be an advantage.
Application: Training on what is required will be given by the employer. Post is currently flexible with hours to be agreed with the employer.
