Responsibilities
- Provide support and companionship to a young woman who lives with Autism. Confidentiality is of utmost importance.
- Assist her to access the local community, including activities such as bowling, cinema, coffee/lunch outings, and attending drama classes at CentreStage in Kilmarnock.
- Support her interest in acting and drama, TV dramas and soaps.
- Assist her in volunteering with animals; applicants must be animal lovers, especially cats.
- Spend time at home assisting with hair, make‑up and nails.
- Support her with life‑skills including shopping, budgeting, meal preparation and cooking.
Qualifications
- Training provided by employer.
- Must undergo a new PVG Disclosure (or update) and supply two reference contacts before appointment.
- 6‑month probationary period; 1‑week notice if the post does not work out.
Compensation
£14.59 per hour with travel allowance; mileage costs will be covered by the employer for work‑related travel.
