To deliver high‑quality, person‑centered 1:1 support to autistic adults, enabling them to live fulfilling, active, and inclusive lives. The role focuses on building day‑to‑day activities (e.g., cooking), building trusting relationships, promoting independence, supporting participation in activities at home and in the community, and helping the individual access social, wellbeing, and lifestyle opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, tailored support to one individual at a time based on their personal goals, interests, and needs.
- Promote independence and decision‑making.
- Adapt communication style and approaches to suit the individual.
- Support the individual to access social events, community facilities, groups, and activities.
- Encourage engagement with peers and the wider community.
