Hours: Casual as and when required

Hourly rate: £13.45

Location: Cumnock

Position: Personal Assistant / Companion required to provide social support to a gentleman in Cumnock. The gentleman is very independent. He has a wheelchair which he only uses when necessary. He uses oxygen and may at times feel up to going out; therefore companionship within his home is important.

Responsibilities

  • Provide social support and companionship, accompanying the gentleman on outings to golf or fishing (weather permitting) and to appointments, as well as other social activities.
  • At times assist with personal care, medication administration, and preparing meals, sandwiches, or drinks.

Requirements

  • Full Driving Licence required, as you may need to drive the employer’s vehicle if he is unwell.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, respectful, and aware of the importance of confidentiality.

Note: This role is a support arrangement facilitated through an agency that provides a mailbox service for individual personal employers in receipt of self-directed support funding. It does not imply employment by the agency.
