Ayrshire College and the Employer Engagement and Innovation department have a unique and exciting opportunity for dynamic vocational trainers to join our pre-approved commercial register. This is a key role for the College where the successful trainers will support the development of the economy in Ayrshire.

We are seeking suitably qualified and highly experienced trainers to deliver Fabrication and Welding courses including fabrication techniques, cutting processes, and welding processes including MMA, MIG, MAG, and TIG, to both individuals and employers. Courses may be delivered face to face or online, on weekdays, evenings, or weekends subject to demand. Trainers should have a track record in delivery and the ability to communicate and engage effectively with a diverse group of learners and support them to achieve relevant skill levels. You will provide support and guidance to inspire and train learners and prepare regular progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.

You will hold a minimum of HNC or alternatively hold relevant industry-based qualifications together with extensive and current knowledge of industry/sector practices.

The Pre-approved Register is an excellent opportunity to bring your valuable industry experience to the education sector. We are looking for experienced professionals who have availability to provide trainer/assessor/verifier cover on an as-and-when required basis. In return, you will develop your knowledge and skills of learning and teaching whilst being rewarded with inspiring the industry professionals of tomorrow.
