Variable hours as and when required. Opportunities available across our Ayr, Kilwinning and Kilmarnock Campuses. £28,012 per annum, pro rata.
Responsibilities
- Support our Curriculum Quality Managers and lecturing teams in the delivery of first‑class salon services within the College’s learning and teaching environment.
- Assist with classroom cover on an as‑and‑when required basis as part of the Pre‑approved Register.
Qualifications
- Educational: NC level 6 or SVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, Complementary Therapy, or Make‑up Artistry; or equivalent relevant experience. Additional units in hair are desirable.
- Experience: relevant professional customer service within a salon environment is essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills, effective IT and organisational skills required to support the maintenance of client databases and information.
- Additional: good knowledge of products and suppliers desirable.

The Pre‑approved Register is an excellent opportunity to bring your valuable industry experience to the education sector. We are looking for experienced professionals who have availability to provide class cover on an as‑and‑when required basis. In return, you will develop your knowledge and skills of learning and teaching whilst being rewarded with inspiring the industry professionals of tomorrow.
