You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery, and assessment of relevant resources. This will involve supporting the Curriculum Quality Manager in the delivery of the department curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the student journey, delivering first class and high-quality learning and teaching experiences.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree level or equivalent in English/Literature or a related subject area.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the current English curriculum.
  • Relevant teaching experience in a college environment and CPD within a specialist area.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills.
  • Desirable: teaching qualification, though not essential.
