As Curriculum Quality Manager you will provide professional leadership to the Curriculum team by developing dynamic and forward-thinking learning and teaching practices and managing resources in order to ensure a first class learning and teaching experience for students.

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Skills, the successful candidate will provide operational leadership across aerospace programmes, supporting lecturing teams to deliver industry-relevant, high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of students, employers, and the wider aviation sector.

The post includes a teaching commitment of up to 12 hours a week, pro rata with the curriculum offer.

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent professional qualification) in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline and will have extensive commercial/industrial experience. You will also be in possession of a TQFE/PDA/PGCE, and be able to evidence continuing professional development and up-to-date industry knowledge.

You will have strong subject expertise in aerospace, aeronautical engineering, or aviation-related disciplines with a thorough understanding of quality assurance processes, self-evaluation, and continuous improvement planning.

You will also need experience in curriculum development, with the ability to align programmes to industry standards and emerging sector needs. Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements within the aerospace or aviation sector (e.g. safety, quality and industry accreditation frameworks) and experience of building and maintaining effective partnerships with industry and external stakeholders is also vital.

You will have experience of working with a wide range of partners and will have a proven ability to manage projects and motivate teams. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate initiative in identifying and developing opportunities for service development whilst engaging key communication, planning and organisational skills.

The ability to provide leadership and facilitate problem solving, along with relevant teaching/lecturing experience is vital.
