According to HMRC, Research and Development (R&D) occurs when a project aims to advance overall knowledge or capability in its field. Working in R&D tax, you will consult with clients leading cutting-edge industry developments, actively driving and pushing boundaries in innovation globally.

You’ll play an active part in major engagements, not just number crunch, and you’ll learn how to provide specialist advice to our clients on the technical, tax, and financial aspects of R&D tax reliefs. Responsibilities:

  • Client Facing: Client relationship building throughout the sales and production process, including training on correspondence processes for claim-related information.
  • Subject Matter Expert: A technical understanding of your specialism with enthusiasm to approach it from a consulting lens.
  • Report and Claim Management: Support the team in creating structured claim reports, R&D project descriptions, and claims adjustments.

Qualifications Experience and Requirements:

  • STEM-related bachelor, MSc/PhD graduate is preferable.
