Ayming UK is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our thriving team in the heart of London.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead Generation: Generating new business leads through traditional go-to-market methods: cold calling, email, LinkedIn.
- Client Facing: Prospecting high-level clients and partner organisations in person and via phone call, while having strong communicative abilities throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Research and Preparation: Proactively seek out opportunities to build client portfolio using existing network to close deals with organisations of all sizes.
- Data Management: Manage and update the CRM systems on the database and report on sales activity.
- Product Expert: Demonstrate updated product knowledge and ensure this is applied within all communications. Able to explain and promote a complex value proposition.
- Vertical Focus: Deliver tailored expertise to increase market visibility. Aid marketing in the creation of bespoke content to be used in pitching and acquisition.
- Expertise: An understanding of sales principles. The ability to deliver an excellent client experience, create compelling presentations and host negotiations.
Qualifications
- Business Development Experience: 5-7+ years in business development within professional services or B2B solution-based sales, with a proven track record of exceeding new business targets.
- Financial and Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of corporation tax schemes, enabling effective client engagement and tailored solution delivery.
- Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor's degree or academic equivalent, supporting both technical competence and professional credibility.
- Professional Work Ethic & Reliability: Demonstrates a strong work ethic, drive, and determination to exceed new business targets. Dependable and mature in both client interactions and peer collaboration.
- Client-Centric and Proactive Approach: Organised and capable of independently managing a client portfolio. A proactive communicator who builds lasting client relationships and consistently seeks new opportunities through strategic lead generation and innovation.
