Job Description
A leading London-based M&E contractor (turnover £400m+) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join its commercial new-build division.
With multiple large-scale commercial projects starting and progressing this year, the business continues to build on its reputation for delivering landmark London developments, supported by long-standing client relationships and strong technical expertise.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of a major mechanical package (£20m–£30m) on a flagship Central London project, with responsibility spanning pre-construction through to final handover. This is a senior role offering autonomy, early design-stage influence, and clear long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the mechanical package to programme, quality, and compliance standards
- Manage design, construction, commissioning, and handover activities
- Report directly to the Project Director on progress and performance
- Add value through buildability, methodology, and cost improvements
- Manage subcontractors, supply chain, and internal engineering teams
About You
- Proven experience delivering £10m+ commercial M&E projects
- Strong mechanical building services background
- Confident leader with excellent stakeholder management skills
