Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

£60,000 - £70,000 per annum DOE + Travel

Due to several recent major project wins and in line with an ambitious growth plan, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the London office of a tier one Mechanical and Electrical Sub-Contractor.

The Company

  • Tier one Sub-Contractor, specialising in Data Centres, Commercial and Fit-Out projects.
  • Established Design team, split between mechanical and electrical, with a wealth of experience.
  • Central London office close to major transport links.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer will take a lead role on the successful delivery of innovative mechanical/ HVAC design on critical infrastructure projects in the UK and Europe.
  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for attending design team and client meetings and working with the wider multi-disciplinary engineering design team.
  • The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will take responsibility for training and mentoring less experienced Engineers in the team.

Skills and Background

  • Background in commercial or life science projects, with new build and fit out experience required.
  • The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with have competence on IES, Revit and Bluebeam.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in either mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
