Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-profile projects, we are looking for a Senior or Principal Security Consultant to join a well-established global engineering and design consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of electronic security design solutions across a range of mission-critical/data centre projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivering design and advisory services for proportionate and effective electronic security solutions.
- Managing project delivery alongside multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure technically excellent and commercially successful outcomes.
- Producing and reviewing specifications, reports and general arrangement drawings.
- Undertaking site inspections and surveys as required.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and helping to drive the successful delivery of security controls across a variety of sectors.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
- Extensive experience in security systems design, including CCTV/video surveillance, access control, intruder alarm, intercom and integrated security management systems.
- Strong understanding of design delivery through RIBA Plan of Work stages or equivalent project design frameworks.
- Broader knowledge of security risk management and physical security solutions, including hostile vehicle mitigation, forced entry protection, and blast or ballistic mitigation.
- Proven experience managing direct reports, project teams and client or stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to prepare high-quality technical documentation and contribute to site-based reviews and surveys.
- Excellent communication skills, strong initiative and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
