We are currently recruiting experienced M&E Construction Managers on behalf of a well-established Main contractor and specialist subcontractor, both delivering major projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our clients are looking to appoint M&E professionals who are confident in managing complex building services packages and are flexible with travel and living away during the working week.

The Role

As an M&E Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of mechanical and electrical packages on live construction projects. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and the client, you will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Projects range across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, offering long-term continuity and exposure to technically challenging schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing M&E works from installation through to commissioning and handover
  • Managing subcontractors and site teams daily
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
  • Coordinating with site management, design teams, and project stakeholders
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control
  • Identifying and resolving technical and programme issues on site

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience working as an M&E Construction Manager or Site Manager
  • Strong background delivering mechanical and electrical packages on construction projects
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • SMSTS and relevant health & safety qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and live away during the week is essential
