KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the setup and management of BIM project environments, including CDEs, model and drawing templates, and 2D/3D content.
- Collaborating with design teams and supply chain partners to ensure technical information meets project requirements and industry standards.
- Overseeing the production and maintenance of BIM models, drawings, schedules, and specifications using Autodesk BIM360/ACC.
- Managing coordination models, clash detection activities, reports, and visual outputs using Autodesk Navisworks Manage and Autodesk BIM360/ACC.
- Acting as the client-facing Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all CAD and BIM-related aspects of projects.
- Providing technical support and training to team members on BIM software and best practices.
- Conducting BIM coordination meetings, tracking progress, and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Ensuring compliance with client information requirements, industry standards, and internal policies through audits and quality control measures.
- Driving innovation and process improvements within the BIM framework.
- Upholding ethical and professional standards in accordance with company policies.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
- Degree-qualified in Building Services, Construction, BIM, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of five years’ experience using Autodesk Revit in project environments.
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Autodesk Navisworks Manage, with a focus on MEP and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience in developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans.
- Experience working in a consultancy, contractor, or architectural environment with a strong understanding of construction project design processes.
- Ability to coordinate architectural, structural, and building services within a 3D modeling environment.
- Knowledge of routing and coordination for mechanical, electrical, and public health services, including HVAC, power containment, lighting, and fire services.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Relevant certifications in BS EN ISO19650, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, or Autodesk AutoCAD.
- Experience working under BS EN ISO19650, PAS 1192, and BS8888 standards.
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing BIM platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience in developing and managing company CAD/BIM standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Understanding of regional, UK, and European health and safety regulations.
- Possession of a valid CSCS card.
