Job details:
- Salary: Grade 1, Point 3. £24,796 (pro rata).
- Hours: Monday to Friday. 20 hours per week. Ideally, the working hours will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm each day. However, we can be flexible for the right candidate. This will be term time plus 3 weeks of school holidays, as working is required for deep cleaning. Job shares considered.
- Contract type: Part-time, Permanent.
- Reporting to: Headteacher.
- Location: Newnham St Peter's C of E Primary School. The appointment is with the Trust.
- Your Role: As our School Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school premises.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily cleaning duties following a set schedule
- Deep cleaning during school holidays
- Safe and appropriate use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies
- Reporting maintenance and health & safety concerns
- Ensuring secure locking up procedures when required
